Alfamet BVBA attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and wants to treat them with the necessary respect. The purpose of this privacy statement is to inform those whose personal data are processed by Alfamet BVBA.

This statement describes the way your personal data are collected and processed on this website and during the execution of assignments by Alfamet BVBA in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (effective 25/05/2018).
 

1. Definitions

• Data subject = the client/customer or others who fill out the contact form on the website or who surf the website www.alfamet.be.
• Responsible processor = Alfamet BVBA.
• Processor = all companies that Alfamet BVBA calls upon and that may be in contact with the personal data of the data subjects.
   

2. Processing of personal data

On the website you can fill in a contact form. Following data collected through this channel will be processed by us:

• First name
• Name
• Company name
• Address data
• E-mail address
• Phone number
• Location data
• IP address

If you conclude an agreement with us, Alfamet BVBA may become acquainted with personal data of the client's customers, its personnel, suppliers and appointees (non-exhaustive list).

Within the framework of taking care of assignments awarded to Alfamet BVBA by clients, it is not excluded that Alfamet BVBA will get acquainted with sensitive personal data which can be processed by Alfamet BVBA.

3. Grounds

The following grounds will be used to process your personal data:

• Execution of an agreement
• Legitimate interests
• Vital interests
• Processing for archiving in the public interest, scientific or historical research or statistical purposes

In case you fill out the contact form, you give Alfamet BVBA the express consent by checking the provided box at the bottom of the contact form. If you e-mail Alfamet BVBA, you also give her permission to process the data.

If you entrust assignments to Alfamet BVBA, you give her permission to be acquainted with all personal data she comes into contact with during the execution of her assignments. This permission has to be given explicitly. If you do not give Alfamet BVBA this permission, she will be able to take knowledge of the personal data based on the execution of the agreement or her legitimate interest.

For the processing of sensitive data within the framework of the execution of her services, Alfamet BVBA needs your explicit consent or guarantees you as client that you have the consent of the data subject, and that he can communicate this consent to the client on paper or another medium.

Our website does not intend to collect sensitive data about website visitors who are under the age of 16, unless they have parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent.

The person concerned may also withdraw their consent at any time. To do so, please send an e-mail to info@alfamet.be.
 

4. Purposes

Alfamet BVBA processes the data you have consented to in order to fulfill its activities:

• Managing its operations, managing and improving its website or generating statistical analysis about its services.
• To inform the customer about activities and services of Alfamet BVBA.
   

5. Passing on to third parties

The personal data originating from the client will only be passed on to processors in order to execute the purposes as mentioned in point 4. Your data will never be passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Alfamet BVBA attaches the greatest importance to your personal data. In case we make use of processors who would also come into contact with your personal data, we will see to it that these processors will not use the personal data for purposes other than those mentioned under 4. It will make agreements with these parties on how they should treat the personal data and what level of protection they should apply. 6. Retention

Alfamet BVBA will keep your data for an unlimited period of time if it concerns personal data it acquires via the website www.alfamet.be or via mail, and for the duration of the agreement if it concerns personal data it processes in the context of its assignments. Alfamet BVBA strives to inform you as well as possible about its services.

Alfamet BVBA will offer the utmost guarantee to act upon your rights as described in point 8. At regular intervals, the person concerned will be asked to confirm the correctness of the data.

7. Level of protection

Alfamet BVBA guarantees an adequate organizational and technical level of protection. We do this by securing your data appropriately and requiring the same level of security from our processors. At a minimum, the security is done by using a password to protect the sensitive data.

8. Rights of the data subject

This privacy statement aims to inform you adequately about your rights. You always have the right to oppose the processing of your data. If you wish to access, correct, transfer or restrict the processing of your data, you may of course do so. Under certain conditions your data can be deleted. Your request to this end should be addressed to info@alfamet.be.

To ensure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the identity document), the identity card/passport number and the National Register number. This is to protect your privacy.
